Ziti

Recipe courtesy of mrs.marie.g

1 LB Ziti
1 32 Oz Ricotta Cheese
1 Bag of Shredded Mozz. Cheese or Italian Mix is also good (the 4 cup bag is what I use)
1 Cup Parmesan Cheese
1.5  Jars of Tomato Sauce
1 Egg
2 tbs of Crushed Red Pepper
2 tbs of Italian Seasoning
1 tbs of Garlic Powder
Salt and Pepper (I prefer ground pepper) to taste

Preheat oven to 350. Take spoon and spread sauce over bottom and sides of a baking dish. Boil pasta. In a bowl mix in the ricotta a small amount of Tomato Sauce egg and seasoning (you can add more of the spices if you want I normally eyeball this) add a little shredded cheese and half of the parmesan cheese to the mixture. Once pasta is done drain and mix in the ricotta cheese mixture and remaining sauce. Mix in the rest of the shredded cheese and rest of Parmesan Cheese. Cover and bake until cheese is bubbly and heated through (usually about 30-40 minutes)

A few notes: This is a recipe I just came up with w/o measurements. Its VERY cheesy so if you like it cheesy then keep it this way if not add less ricotta and shredded cheese. Also when adding sauce make sure the corners get covered they always dry out the quickest. And I prefer it left covered because I don't like crunchy ziti but some prefer it this way. Enjoy
