*Can be used as a side with a meal or as a dessert.
Ingredients:
6 large eggs
1lb Extra Wide Egg Noodles
1 cup sugar **Take 5 tablespoons out of that cup and put aside**
½ lb (melted) butter **Take 5 tablespoons off of that (before melting) and put aside**
1 pint of sour cream
¾ bar of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1 tsp of lemon juice
2 cups of corn flake crumbs **set aside for use with 5 tbsps (set aside) each of butter &
sugar**
9½ x 12 pan- could be foil pan that you buy in the supermarket
- Boil noodles and drain.
- Spread noodles out in pan evenly.
- Beat eggs.
- Add sugar, melted butter, cream cheese, lemon juice & sour cream to eggs
- Pour mixture evenly over the noodles.
- Cover pan and put in fridge overnight.
Next day-
- Put corn flake crumbs, 5 tablespoons of sugar, 5 tablespoons of melted butter together in a bowl and mix until crumbs are moistened.
- Spread mixture on top of noodles evenly.
- Bake in oven for ONE hour at 350 degrees.
- Cut into large square when ready to serve. (Like you would with brownies)
**Can add raisins or cinnamon in the beginning mixture (before refrigerating), if you like**
