1 lb. ground beef
½ cup chopped onions
¼ cup diced green pepper
1 cup (8 oz. can) tomato sauce
2 tsp chili power
½ tsp garlic salt
1 can (8 oz.) Hungry Jack Biscuits or Flakey Grands
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
In a large pan brown beef, pepper and onions. Drain. Stir in tomato sauce, chili power and garlic salt. Simmer while preparing the dough. Separate each biscuit into two pieces, lay half on the bottom of a 9x9 pan and save the other half for the top. Put ½ cup of cheese in the meat mixture and spoon mixture on top of biscuits. Arrange remaining biscuits. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes. Biscuits should be a deep golden brown.
