Pot Roast

  •        Boneless chuck roast  2-3 lbs. (1-2 1/2 inches thick)
  •        1 can cream of mushroom soup 
  •        2 onions cut into quarters
  •        1 packet Lipton recipe secret onion mix
  •        1/4 cup flour
  •        black pepper
  •        garlic powder
1- Dust meat with Flour, pepper and garlic powder
2- After meat is dusted, heat oil in skillet and brown meat. (I use a cast iron Dutch oven to brown meat, if you don't have, then brown meat in skillet and then place meat in deep baking dish.)
3- Add onions, can of soup, then water approx 1 1/2 soup cans (to also wash out any leftover soup in the can), packet of Lipton secret.
4- Cover with foil tight, or top of Dutch oven. 
5- Bake at 325 for 3-4 hours or 350 for 2 1/2- 3 hours.
