You can use broccoli, cauliflower, string beans, spinach, etc.
Steam preferred vegetable
In a separate pot melt butter or margarine (1\s stick), add 1\4 cup of olive oil and smashed pieces of garlic. When garlic is just browning remove from heat.
Pour over steamed veggies and add salt and pepper.
