** Sounds (and looks) gross but it’s always a hit and so easy to make.
1 lb ground beef
1 8 oz. container Temptee whipped cream cheese
1 large block (I think 10 oz) of pepper jack cheese, grated
1 can of Hormel Chili, no beans

Brown beef in large skillet
Add grated pepper jack, Temptee, and Hormel Chili, mix until combined and cheese is melted.

Take along to party and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.  Serve hot with Tostitos.*

***not to be confused (as it often is) with Buffalo Chicken Dip

1 block of cream cheese, softened
1 bag of shredded cheese, mild or sharp
1 16 oz. jar of sour cream
2 or 3 oz bacon pieces
-I buy the Hormel brand and the jar is exactly what you need, 2 or 3 oz, that is the way it comes and pieces not bits
1 cup of chopped green onions

Combine all ingredients
Put in oven safe dish
Cover in foil
Bake on 350* for 35-45 min

Crab Dip

Recipe courtesy of wrysmyguy
  • 11 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 (6 ounce) cans crabmeat, drained and flaked. (the fancy lump crabmeat, or fresh crabmeat)
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Old Bay seasoning to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • a handful of grated cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, onion, mayonnaise, garlic powder, salt and pepper and mix well. Gently fold in the crab meat. Generally season the mixture with Old Bay Seasoning to your taste. I add a lot until it's slightly pink in color. Spread mixture into a 1 quart baking dish and sprinkle with a handful of grated cheddar.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven until bubbly. Sprinkle more Old Bay on the top and serve.

Crab Dip

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons minced onion
2 tablespoons minced celery
2 tablespoons minced greed pepper

Beat egg.  Add lemon juice and minced vegetables.
Add cheese, reserving about 1/4 cup.
Add crab meat (fold in gently).
Add mayonnaise one tablespoon at a time until dip
holds together. (You don't want to over mix.  You want
to keep the pieces of crab meat intact).
Add Old Bay, salt and pepper, stir gently,
Put in casserole dish, sprinkle remaining cheese on
top.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.  Serve hot.
