Sweet-and-Sour Brisket

1 (32 oz) jar sauerkraut, partly drained
5 lb beef brisket
1 (28 oz) can whole, peeled tomatoes
1 (16 oz) box dark brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350.  Pour the sauerkraut over the brisket.  Add the tomatoes with their liquid.  Sprinkle with the brown sugar.  Cover with foil and bake for 3 hours.  (Sounds a little strange, but it's GREAT!)
