Chicken with Green Olives

1/4 c. olive oil
2 lbs chicken pieces-I usually do thighs and legs
Garlic powder
Black pepper
A large jar of Spanish olives with pimientos
2 baking potatoes cut into cubes (optional)

Sprinkle garlic powder and pepper on chicken pieces.  Sauté in hot oil until browned.  Add olives to pan.  Let simmer until chicken is cooked through.  Remove all from pan and add a little more oil.  Fry potatoes until golden and crispy.  Serve with chicken.  Can also be served with mashed potatoes.  Soo easy, sooo yummy!
