INGREDIENTS:
2 heads broccoli, cut up and cooked (but still a little crunchy)
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
3 tablespoons sherry
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pinch ground black pepper
2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cooked and sliced
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Melt butter or margarine in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in flour; add chicken broth and stir until thick. Then stir in cream, sherry or wine, salt and ground black pepper. Remove from heat. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place broccoli in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour 1/2 of the cream sauce over the broccoli and top with chicken slices. Add 1/4 cup of cheese to the remaining sauce, mix together and pour this mixture over the chicken slices. Sprinkle top with remaining 1/4 cup of cheese.
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes (longer if ingredients are cooled) until heated thorough. Then broil until top is golden.
